Rethinking the path to independence
Welcome to Rethinkable;
Rethinkable is a mental health floating support service aimed at providing individuals with the tools and resources they need to improve their overall well-being and independence. We work with all mental health conditions, including hoarding tendencies; and provide tailored support to meet the needs of the individual, whether it’s through a full declutter and deep clean or a slower, more gradual process through weekly sessions. This ensures our clients feel in control and supported every step of the way. We aim to offer gentle guidance and practical support, to help to reduce any stress or anxiety during the process of decluttering. Our offer of ongoing support after a declutter and deep clean helps to maintain progress and ensures our clients feel supported even after the initial work is done. It also helps to prevent things from becoming overwhelming again in the future.
We recognise that a safe environment is crucial for overall wellbeing and can provide a solid foundation for those living independently. This is why we start at home. Our approach for ongoing support is focused on empowering our clients to take control of their own spaces. Through the decluttering process, we actively involve them, helping them learn the skills necessary to maintain their spaces independently. While we are happy to support our clients for as long as they feel is needed, our ultimate goal is for them to reach a point where they no longer require our assistance and can confidently manage their space on their own.

Our Services
Deep clean and reset
When a space has become unsafe or unmaintained, we suggest a deep clean to reset the living space before teaching life skills to maintain it. During these deep cleans, we work with the individual to declutter, reorganise and clean their homes to a safe standard at their pace. We can then offer weekly support, if needed, to ensure the space is maintained and new habits are formed.
